I’ve had the honor of supporting children, teens, and adults through anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, grief, PTSD, identity exploration, and career uncertainty. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and attuned, always honoring your pace, your story, and your intuition.
There are always solutions for problems that we encounter, even the problems that we have been stuck with for quite some time. Though, there is no quick fix or one-size approach either. Therapy is a collaborative healing process to improve functioning in several areas of our life. I will guide you through these challenges and provide you with the tools along the way. Collaboration is extremely important during the process to establish comfortable space to promote growth.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or memories that won’t let go?
Struggling with sleep, motivation, or feeling safe in your own body again? Many people I work with carry the effects of trauma - whether from childhood, adulthood, or both - and are looking for relief, stability, and a stronger sense of wellbeing. Together, we focus on easing distressing symptoms, building coping tools, and helping you feel more
grounded, empowered, and hopeful about your life.
As an African American social worker educated in Alabama, I bring both cultural awareness and a deeply grounded, compassionate approach to my practice. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
My style is collaborative, empathetic, and empowering—I believe in meeting clients where they are while helping them identify their strengths and develop practical tools for growth. I draw on evidence-based practices through a trauma-informed and person-centered lens, supporting clients in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity, and recovery.
Having trained and practiced in diverse communities, I understand the importance of cultural context, lived experience, and social environment in shaping one’s well-being. Whether you’re seeking support for personal growth, healing from trauma, or strengthening coping strategies, I’m here to walk alongside you in the process of building a more balanced and fulfilling life.
