I am a licensed mental health counselor in private practice since 2008.I believe that positive change and growth are possible at any age or stage of life. I will work together with you to identify the challenges you are facing, set goals and develop a plan to reach your goals so that you can find fulfillment and peace.
This is a telehealth practice. As a personal choice, the use of narcotics or other controlled (DEA) meds are minimal, if any. I've been a psych nurse practitioner for at least 14yrs. I believe in managing conditions with psychiatric and non-psychiatric treatment modalities that are evidence based. The use of the least amount of meds, at lower doses that does the healing of symptoms, is an active process involving the client and based on the reported experiences. Safety is the core of my practice and my job is to help clients understand internal signals and how to prevent another crisis.
