Pleasure to meet you! My name is Iffy, and I was born and raised in Nigeria. After working in a Psych ER for over 22 years, I decided it was time to be able to treat my own patients. I went back to school and graduated from Brandman University in 2019 with my nurse practitioner degree. Four years later, I love what I do and the patients I treat. I truly believe that with the right work, tomorrow is always capable of bringing you a smile.
Hello, I'm a board-certified psychiatrist who works with adults experiencing a broad range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and immigrant health.
I do this work because I am committed to liberation for all people. I believe that none of us are free until ALL of us are free. I am a queer and nonbinary therapist who brings a queer and intersectional lens to my work. I specialize in holding space for life transitions and know how to act as a guide to your personal revelations. I prioritize trauma informed care, and I have been told that I know how to hold a strong container for clients to discover their own inner wisdom and knowing. As survivor of trauma and Intimate Partner Violence, I specialize in helping clients find and trust their own intuition.
I’m Kait, an LCSW of 7 years and social worker for 13. I specialize in anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and religious trauma. I work with adults who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, hypervigilance, panic, or chronic stress.
I work with teens, adults, and couples. I believe that true wellness comes from integrating all aspects of ourselves—spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and creative. As a California-certified sexual assault counselor, fully trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, I provide trauma-informed care with empathy and expertise. I also specialize in psychedelic therapy preparation and integration, guiding clients through their profound journeys with care and intention.
I became a therapist to help people suffer less and grow more. I have 15 years of experience in private practice, a mental health jail and a high-needs public clinic. I have led therapy groups focusing on childhood trauma, men's groups, feeling safe in love, attachment, codependence and spirituality. I was awarded Employee of the Year for LA County's Department of Mental Health. I supervise developing therapists and provide trainings on best clinical practices through public speaking and professional development.
